Arrival via Mittersill and the Felbertauern in the Hohe Tauern National Park to East Tyrol. A panoramic train continues to the romantic Innergschlöß , voted the most beautiful place in Austria in 2015. Possibility to take a walk with a view of the Großvenediger. Continue to the hotel in the Matrei area in East Tyrol. Dinner and overnight stay.

Along the impressive Lienz Dolomites you reach the Lesachtal, to Kötschach-Mauthen . Possibility to visit a museum (closed on Monday) or take a stroll around town. Marvel at the pilgrimage church in Maria Luggau and Obertilliach, the highest town in the valley. Continue to Defreggental with a stay at Obersee, known for its beautiful alpine flowers and panoramic views of South Tyrol.

Kals is an interesting mountaineering village (historical tour). Along the Kalser Glocknerstrasse you reach the Ködnitztal . Opportunity to take a lunch break in the mountain inn with a spectacular view of the summit of the Großglockner. In the afternoon you visit Virgen, Maria Schnee and Prägraten. Take the bus to the end of the valley , from here either a short hike or a horse-drawn carriage to the Islitzeralm . Walk to the natural spectacle Umbal waterfalls or leisurely leisure time in the alpine pasture area.

Today you explore the South Tyrolean part of the Dolomites. You reach Dobbiaco via Lienz and Sillian .
There you can visit the 3 Zinnen show dairy and take a guided tour to gain an insight into the fine art of
cheesemaking Storage and ripening of the cheese wheels. Past Lake Toblach and Dürrensee (stop with a view of the 3 Peaks), we continue towards Cortina d’Ampezzo. Possibility of a lunch break. On the return journey you will stop at Lake Misurina where you can shop for typical products.

Breakfast and return journey via Iselsberg to the Mölltal , stay in the romantic Alpine town of Heiligenblut, before you ¬drive on the Großglockner High Alpine Road (toll), which takes you through the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Then you start your journey home.
