1. day: arrival, city tour of Graz
Arrival in Graz. Your tour guide will be waiting for you there. Walk through the old town, one of the best-preserved city centers in Central Europe, where you will encounter Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque, but also modernity. A visit to the city’s landmark should not be missed. The Schlossbergbahn takes you up the mountain to the clock tower.
2. day: day trip to Piber
In the morning we drive to the Lipizzaner’s nursery. This is where the dark foals are born and the stars of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna spend the summer on the pastures here. Guided tour of the Piber Stud . Then visit the Hundertwasser Church in Bärnbach. Return journey via the Schilcher wine route with a visit to a pumpkin seed oil mill. There you will taste a pumpkin seed oil egg dish with bread and 1 drink (mineral, apple juice).
3. day: day trip to Riegersburg, schnapps and vinegar factory
The impressive castle from the 12th century, visible from afar, is located 482 m high on a volcanic cone. A lift takes you up the mountain to the castle entrance in 2 minutes. Particularly worth seeing is the knight’s hall, built in 1600, with richly decorated wooden portals and a magnificent coffered ceiling. In the afternoon you will immerse yourself in the world of the Gölles schnapps and vinegar factory . During the adventure tour, you explore the rooms and taste vinegars and brandies in a pleasant atmosphere. There are tips and tricks for fine cuisine.
Day 4: return home
After breakfast you start your journey home.
