On a 2-hour city tour you will walk along famous buildings such as the Doge’s Palace, the Campanile or the Rialto Bridge. The tour ends in a gondola shipyard in the San Trovaso district , where Venetian gondolas have been made using ancient craftsmanship since the 17th century. Here you can see over the shoulders of the gondola builders at work. Free time in the city. A highlight of your visit to Venice would certainly be a gondola ride on the quiet canals of the Serenissima. In the late afternoon return by boat to Punta Sabbioni .

Day 3: Lagoon cruise and evening in Venice

Today you will explore the famous islands of the Venice lagoon with your travel companion.
From the port of Punta Sabbioni you take the boat to the island of Murano, world famous for its glass art. Here you can watch the glassblowers at work. Then we continue to Burano. The island is known for its colorful houses and lace embroidery. The third island, which you can optionally visit, is called Torcello and is a little less colorful, but no less interesting because it was once the seat of a bishop. We recommend visiting the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta with its tower, which offers a fantastic view of the entire island. In the afternoon you will be back in Venice and have free time before returning to the port in Punta Sabbioni
