Today you hike through the citrus park in Cannero , where rare citrus varieties grow. Halfway up, you go through Mediterranean vegetation to Carmine Superiore, where you can see the outside of the Romanesque church, which is richly decorated with frescoes. The final stretch leads to Cannobio, a medieval village with a lakeside promenade, where you visit the Sanctuary of the Pietà .

Your hike today takes you from Belgirate to Stresa . After just a short time you will leave the lively riverside zone behind you and immerse yourself in the rural surroundings. It is said that there are countless votive chapels along the paths, but they are coupling stones. There are refreshment options along the way. If you want, you can then visit the Borromean Islands (optional).

Hike from the Orta bus parking lot to Monte Mesma via the circular path. Cross the baroque
Village of Carconio with panoramic views to Monte Rosa. The summit of Monte Mesma is over the
Procession route “Via Crucis” reached. Return through characteristic villages, including the Painted Village
Legro with frescoes. Return to the parking lot in Orta .. Return to the parking lot in Orta .

Your starting point today is Villadossola . Along the sunny slopes of
Accompanied by chestnut forests and stone villages, you will get a glimpse of the
Val Grande National Park. The ancient path of mills and wine presses reminds you of the once rich
wine region. Finally, descent from the high path over the Calvary (UNESCO) to Domodossola.
It is worth visiting the special world cultural heritage with its artistic chapels and sanctuary
to visit. The procession route leads to the old town of Domodossola.
