Day 2: Wildschönau hike

Easy Tour: Schatzberg – On this tour you take the Schatzbergbahn to the mountain station and start your tour today from there. Via the Gernalm and Gernsattel , the moor meadows of the Sternboden and finally a short, steep climb, you reach the Joelspitze . You cross this and return along the western slopes to Schatzberg. There you have to overcome another short climb. From the summit it is then just a short walk down to the mountain station and your well-deserved stop.
Walking time: approx. 4 hours – ascent: 600 m, descent: 150 m + cable car

Day 3: Achensee hike

Easy Tour: Dalfazalm over Dalfazer Wasserfall – You will take the bus to the picturesque Achensee. From Rofangarten on Lake Achensee you first hike along a forest path and a hiking trail to the Rofan Mountains . The Dalfazer waterfall is the first big highlight of the day. Your path now becomes a little steeper, past the Teisslalm and up to the Dalfazalm . You really deserve a cozy stop here. Well fortified, you continue hiking at the same altitude until you finally reach the top station of the Rofanbahn . The gondola takes you comfortably down to the valley, with the constant view of the lake being a welcome conclusion. Walking time: approx. 4 hours – ascent: 750 m, descent: cable car

Day 4: Alpbach hike

Easy Tour: Rundwanderung Bischoferalm – Today we go to the picturesque mountain village of Alpbach. You start your hike directly from the village center, past beautiful houses until you reach the Trat district. From there you continue to Hausberg and partly across open meadows and partly through dense mountain forests to the Bischofer Käsealm , where traditional cuisine awaits you. After this leisurely stop, you walk down into the valley, comfortably along a wide path, down to Alpbach. Walking time: approx. 4 hours – ascent: 500 m, descent: 500 m

Day 5: Wilder Kaiser

Easy Tour: Stripsenjochhaus – Today you’re going to the Wilder Kaiser. From the Griesner Alm you hike to the Stripsenjochhaus . Don’t be fooled if you see the hut after just a short time – the climb will be strenuous. Countless switchbacks lead up until you can finally enjoy the fantastic view from the hut. The sweat is rewarded with a well-deserved stop at the Stripsenjoch and after a panoramic view, the struggles of the climb are forgotten. We then go back down the same way. Walking time: approx. 5 hours – ascent: 750 m, descent: 750 m

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast you start your journey home.

“ UP program ” for good mountain hikers

Tour Breitenegg – From our starting point, the Schönangeralm, we start through sparse forest up to the Niederleger of the Breiteggalm . You continue up through a ditch until the area opens up and you come to the elevated area. The further climb to the summit is varied and exciting, ponds and terrain formations await us. The view from the summit wanders over the Wildschönau mountains to the Kitzbühl and Zillertal Alps. The descent takes place via the Siedljoch back to the Schönangeralm. Walking time: approx. 5 hours – ascent: 800 m, descent: 800 m

Tour Steinernes Tor – Same climb as in the easy program to the Dalfazer Alm, then the path continues up to the Steinernes Tor, just above the magical 2,000 meter mark.
