Day 1: Arrival
Arrival in South Tyrol Welcome drink and dinner together
Day 2: Algunder hike Waalweg (length approx. 6 km/walking time approx. 3 hours/descent approx. 211 m)
Drive to Töll , the starting point of today’s hike. The path runs above Algund over the Etsch bridge towards Oberplars . The soothing sound of the water will stay with you for a while. Along palm trees, cypresses and olive trees you reach Meran via the Tappeinerweg . Once there, you can explore the charming spa town on your own.
Day 3: Marlinger Waalweg (length approx. 12 km/walking time approx. 4 hours/descent approx. 170 m)
The longest Waalweg in South Tyrol leads into the shady deciduous forest in the Merano valley basin. It begins at the Töll Bridge and runs relatively flat along the water canal through well-paved terrain, past apple orchards and chestnut trees. We continue through the landscape dominated by vineyards Cherms . The stately Lebenberg Castle rises on a hill above the community . The Waalweg finally ends at the entrance to the Ultental .
Day 4: Maiser Waalweg (Length approx. 11 km/walking time approx. 4 hours/descent approx. 250 m)
In the morning you take the bus to Saltaus in the Passeier Valley, the starting point for today’s hike. The corner Waalweg runs through beautiful orchards and partly leads directly along the Passer through fields and meadows to Obermais . From here you already have a wonderful view over the Meran basin and the Etschtal. Finally, you hike along the Steinernen Steg to Rametz Castle . There you will visit the wine museum and taste some of the fine wines.
Day 5: Departure
